This is the general title given to all GPS software capable of generating routes from one point to another automatically, on vector cartography and with a capacity to offer turn by turn instructions, (visual and/or voice), in real time, based on our actual position. These applications can be compatible with various diverse platforms PC’s, PDA’s, Laptops, etc... An example of software from this category is the TomTom Navigator 5.
